In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements, including:
21 years of age
High school diploma or GED and one year of qualifying child care experience or
Child Development Associate credential or a Child Development and Related Care Diploma or similar credential where the course of study includes an intensive practicum in child care as part of the curriculum and which is approved by the Department or
Associate's degree in early childhood education and six months of qualifying child care experience or
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development or
Bachelor's degree in a field other than early childhood education or child development and three months qualifying work experience and
Successful completion of a biennial training program in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a triennial training program in first aid, provided by certified or licensed health care professionals covering emergency care to infants and children

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
