Responsibilities includes performing a variety of specialized clerical duties requiring knowledge of human resources operations.
Must be proficient in office equipment such as computer systems, scanners, and printers, etc.
Ultimately, the HR Coordinator will help run and improve the HR functions and create a great working environment.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Good experience of working with filing systems Maintain employee records.
Keeping all paperwork in appropriate places applying security measures to important documents Prepares new employee files Adhere to corporate policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data Screen resumes and job applications Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level staff.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Work experience as an HR Coordinator/Clerk, or similar role in HR Good understanding of HR functions (recruiting, onboarding, training, and compensation) Basic knowledge of labor legislation Solid organizational and time-management skills Strong written and communication skills Word experience using ADP (preferred) Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
